Education Is Power

One of the outreach projects of the M&O Team is to help "Education is Power".In 2014 the team held a spaghetti supper followed by live entertainment by “BRAD AND COMPANY” to raise money for this project.

Education is Power (EIP) is an innovative Canadian charity started by former Perth resident, Dave Cuddy. His parents, Iris and Ken Cuddy, live on Mary Street and are active volunteers with this charity. It's mission is to develop the potential in under privileged East Africans who are committed to the sustainable development and natural conservation of Africa.

There are no administrative fees. Every dollar collected goes to support deserving students at high school, college or university. The average person in Kenya earns $1.50 a day but must pay up to $350. a year to attend a public high school or $2,000. a year to attend a public university.
