In order to make our SS work we need adults to volunteer to teach or be a helper. All lessons are prepared for you but we welcome your input to enhance the theme and goal for the day.  You do not need to be a teacher by profession to be able to share your love of God and Christian values with others.

At St. Paul's we do our utmost to protect everyone. We are very conscious of what we can do to  protect your children. All teachers and volunteers are required to provide police checks. The United Church  of Canada mandates that there be  two persons with  the children.   It is great when  some of you volunteer to be with us.  We practise a fire drill. For your info all SS students exit the  west door, the door  to the left of the main door, looking at the church. We walk out onto the sidewalk, up to the big Maple Tree. It is very important that parents do not run around the church looking for  a child.   Parents need to exit the church with the Congregation and then walk calmly up the street and meet their child. The adult in charge of the children has a clip board with the attendance which is brought out. It is important that you tell this adult that you have your child so  your child's name can be checked off.
